Dermatologist: Get an appointment with a dermatologist, skin doctor. Moles usually are not sore, moles usually do not get infected, moles don't go away and then come back. Things do not add up. You need to have a specialist look at it and treat accordingly.

Agree with Dr. H: Your lesion needs to be evaluated by a doctor and may need to be removed and tissue sent to pathologist for diagnosis.
