Sometimes: You can pass it to your spouse through intercourse, and you can pass it to your children during pregnancy or at delivery; you can not pass it through ordinary activities of daily living. There are medicines to decrease transmission during pregnancy, and methods to conceive without having intercourse unprotected by barrier contraception. Ask your doctor!
