How much chemo is typically needed after bone cancer surgery?

Individual: That is a question that cannot be answered here. It is individual to the person, the type of cancer, the particular oncologist treating you and your particular medical case, overall health, complications, and many, many other things. Discuss with your oncologist openly, fully and completely.

Bone Cancer: It depends on the type of tumor. Chemotherapy is not recommended for chondrisarcoma, but is used for osteosarcomas, both before surgery to shrink the tumor and afterwards to kill remaining tumor cells.. Radiation therapy is also used. . Treatment regimens vary - you might want to look here==>http://www.Cancer.Gov/clinicaltrials/learningabout/taking-part-in-cancer-treatment-research-studies.
