A member asked:

What does it mean if your thighs burn and tingle?

Meralgia: The commonest cause is an irritated nerve (lateral femoral cutaneous) in the front and lateral side of the thigh. The 2 commonest causes of this are diabetes and trauma. The injury can be due to tight belts or clothing or bulky objects in front pockets. Traumatic causes, if removed, often resolve, altho slowly. If no trauma, get checked for diabetes or other metabolic conditions.
