Moot: The real question will be, "what do we do with the results?" will you want a gastrectomy, or will you want the japanese technique of removing the mucosa surgically, leaving the rest of the stomach behind, or is there another option such as for barrett's? You know that presently you are in no danger, and i would urge you to get several opinions; "stage 0" is rarely diagnosed in the usa.

Stomach cancer: High grade dysplasia in a gastric biopsy is not cancer.....Yet! it can, however progress to intramucosal adenocarcinoma and then to invasive adenocarcinoma, both of which are cancers. So, as mentioned, the real issue is how to get the current disease treated appropriately so that it does not progress to something more serious.
