A member asked:

Should you always check possible misdiagnosis of your diagnosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Always question: The diagnosis dr gives you is based upon he/she understands you to say and what he/she notices at time you saw him/her. That means there may be important info that your dr does not know about you, even if you said it. Drs, like all humans, do not always hear or understand everything said to them. Sometimes new info comes up later. Pay attn. If diagnosis no longer makes sense, talk with dr.
