A member asked:

How often should i have a professional skin check if, in the past, i've had a "compound melanocytic nevus with architectural disorder and moderate to focally severe cytologic atypia"? i'm 32 years old and this diagnosis was made when i was 27.

Have it removed: this lesion should never be left if it was left without excision it needs to be excised right away so please go to your PCP or any local surgeon or dermatologist and have it excised what you are describing is pre- malignant condition if it has been excised completely before not only biopsied you are OK as long there is no sign of it left then go and have a dermatologist screened you now good luck
