Sounds like a hernia: Better have it checked as hernias can lead to problems if not repaired.

Depends.....: On where it is located. Sounds like it could be a benign lipoma or fatty growth.. A hernia is also possible. Need to have a physical examination with your doctor to tell what it may be.
