Doctor can evaluate: An "severe" headache can be evaluated by a doctor. Someone with headaches can bring a diary to her doctor, listing the headaches, how long each lasts, what medicines tried, what activities occurred that day, which foods eaten, etc... Emergencies include a "worst headache ever", a headache that gets worse and worse as the day goes on, or a headache accompanied by other major symptoms, etc...

Hi. For the past 2 weeks I have had a constant headache. Some days are better than others. It sometimes heightens when I eat sugar (like a cake/sweets). I do try to eat less sugar. Although I go to bed with headache and wake up with one eveyday.
