Some people put toothpaste on pimples, does it work?

Triclosan is an antibacterial ingredient often added to personal care items like soap, deodorant, and body wash. My wife uses toothpaste on her occasional acne.

I think so.: I had heard this over the years and finally tried it on a developing pimple. It seemed to dry it up and it didn't develop fully. I cannot explain why it worked, but it can't hurt to try it!
