Why should i continue with warfarin if my clots are gone?

Warfarin: How long someone is treated with warfarin for blood clots depends on the patient and the cause for the clots to begin with and whether or not this is a recurring problem.

Warfarin: Treatment time frame is determined by the location of the initial clot presentation. Discontinuing early can lead to clot recurrence. On the other side even if the clot remains after the determined treatment time continuing the warfarin won't change that, as the meds do not dissolve the clot.
