More informat : More information needed...A word of caution, warfarin or Coumadin is not something that should be stopped casually. Talk to your physician to understand why & how long you should be on it.

Warfarin: Treatment time frame is determined by the location of the initial clot presentation. Discontinuing early can lead to clot recurrence. On the other side even if the clot remains after the determined treatment time continuing the warfarin won't change that, as the meds do not dissolve the clot.
