Maybe: But you are interpreting the data wrong: Your wife is taking warfarin BECAUSE she has a clot. Once you have a clot may take month (or even years) of warfarin for the clot to disappear. The appropriate dosage of warfarin changes from pt to pt and is measured by INR that is a standardized test to measure anticoagulation
