No Jumping/Hiking: More important question is what activities you should not do. You should not do any jumping, hiking, walking up or down hills/slopes, running, or in general anything that causes pain in the back of your heel when you participate :).

Try cycling, swimmin: Swimming is the best. Try cycling too. I would avoid negatives, toe raises, and treadmills.
