Many things: Symptoms are very non-specific and could be due to a variety of things (e.g. Pregnancy, endometrial changes: polyps, hyperplasia, ovarian cysts: ruptured and intact, GI issues, etc..). Get checked out, especially if this happens on a regular basis.
