Many things to do. : A sprained finger usually responds well to rest and splinting. Additionally, anti inflammatory medications and ice can also help. If the pain persists, see your family doctor to confirm the diagnosis.

Dependds: A sprained finger could be just a minor sprain but may have a fracture, tendon or ligament injury. They should therefore probably be checked by a doctor because missing the injury and leaving them untreated can lead to longterm and permanent disability.
