Vasomotor rhinitis: If it only occurs when you are outdoors, and only in certain pollen seasons, it could be allergic rhinitis, but if it occurs regardless of whether you exercise outdoors or indoors, it is probably exercise-induced vasomotor rhinitis. This is a neurologically-triggered runny nose, and can be blocked by a special nose spray called atrovent, (ipratropium) or ipratopium. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16498856.
