Angioedema: Neither do i.... There are so many possible reasons this could happen, a doctor would need to take a detailed history of your symptoms to decide how best to proceed to make a diagnosis. If you are itchy, an allergic mechanism becomes more likely than if you are not. Some blood pressure medications, called ace inhibitors, can cause swelling without itch, as can hae. You may have angioedema.
