Destruction to bone: A chronic penetrating cellular infection can cause this. The risk can be high if untreated including sepsis.

Multiple bone sites: CRMO,chronic recurrent multifoclal osteomyel.Occurs in child not at same time and over years..Can occur in epiphysis, metaphysis and diaphysis of long bones, vertebrae.Characteristic lesions sometimes seen in clavicles. Biopsy shows no bacteria, but lymphocytes and plasma cells. Can result in leg length discrepancy or angulated bones.RX NSAIDS and recently EMBREL.Believed autoimmune process.
