Mouth ulcer pain : Surprisingly, some say yes. http://www.mouthulcers.org/messages.php?thread=178&page=47 there are some anecdotes out there that claim the juice can relieve acute pain as well as prevent recurrences, if drunk frequently. Quantum canker cover can also reduce the pain and duration of the ulcer. http://www.quantumhealth.com/productgroups/canker_sore_treatment.html it costs about $2.50 per patch.

Probably not: I would think the acidity of cranberry juice would aggravate the ulcer. You should avoid acidic food and drink, soda, alcohol, spicy foods, and smoking. I recommend not putting anything on the ulcer and rinse with warm salt water several times a day. The ulcer should heal in 10 days or so. Time is really the only treatment for an ulcer other than laser or chemical cauterization at the dentist.
