See doc: There may be wax blocked up in your ear canal or a lingering external ear infection. Let your doctor have a look.

OTC earwax remover: You likely have a decent amount of wax in your canals and when exposed to water, the wax expanded and thus clogged up your ears. Try some otc earwax remover, such as those pictured here. If that does not work, consult doc for an eval/removal right in the office. Good luck.
