Minor fx will: A minor fracture will heal in about 4 weeks especially in a young healthy patient more significant fractures especially in the ankle will likely take 6-8 weeks to heal sometimes i"ll use an ankle brace after the cast to have some protection while regaining motion.

Partially: Normally it takes six to eight weeks for a fracture or break to heal. Your doctor will probably take new x-rays after the four weeks and assess the progress at that time. He/she might put you into a walking brace after the four weeks.

Fractures: Or any bone for that matter typically heal 6-8 weeks. If your fracture was well aligned and healing nicely they may convert you to a walking boot or an ankle brace. The doctor will likely decide after reviewing x-rays.
