I went for my annual obgyn appt, where after doing the internal exam i was told i had a mass on my right ovary. the ultrasound showed nothing, what is it?

Cyst?: You might have had a cyst on the ovary related to your normal menstrual cycle (assuming you are still having periods). Basic info like your age and menstrual status is helpful. If the ultrasound was done days later a cyclic cyst could well resolve. A stool filled loop of bowel might have confused the physical exam findings.
