Neuroma/keloid?: There may be a few different causes. Traumatic neuromas ( cutaneous nerve injuries) may be responsible for the referred pain. Diagnosis may be aided with a local block. Early keloid scars may also be symptomatic with dysesthesias manifested by pins and needles or pain. These may be treated with steroids.
