There are treatments: There are excellent treatments available for folks of all ages with bipolar disorder. I suggest starting by seeing a board certified psychiatrist for a comprehensive evaluation. If you were my patient, i would spend much time making sure i knew what was wrong before proceeding with any treatment. There are some physical causes for mood swings as well, some requiring simple blood tests to rule out.
