Continue for now.: Recent studies show that Plavix (clopidogrel) given for stents after 3 years, do not help anymore. If your are tolerating well without side effects, you better stay on it for now.

Risk benefit: Are you on Aspirin too? The standard of care is to cover with both Aspirin and Plavix (clopidogrel) for atleast a year and then be on Aspirin lifelong. But if you have no other problems ( GI bleed etc) you must continue to be on both the drugs. If you are only on Plavix (clopidogrel), then you must continue to take it ... to prevent future cardiovascular events.
