It depends: Better? Worse? Staying the same? Facial pain can occur with numbness after trauma or infection. It is important to consider a cause from ear or sinus or teeth or eye. A good medical evaluation would be appropriate. There could be a serious process such as tumor. Start with your primary doctor who can determine which specialist would be appropriate.
