Maybe, maybe not...: A primary care doctor, a thoracic surgeon, an orthopedic surgeon, and a plastic surgeon can all evaluate the chest to see what is going on. Sometimes there is a problem also on the inside, while other times it's just a rib cage deformity. The patient can ask for before & after pictures of other cases, because sometimes the results are not normal-looking.
