Is it safe for a diabetic person to have tatoo?

Yes and no!: Keep a close eye on it for infection. Breaking the integrity of the skin is more of a threat to a diabetic. Piercings and tattoos tend to get infected more often than in non-diabetics. Be careful. If it shows signs of infection get a doctor to look at it asap so you can be put on antibiotics and told what else to do.

Yes: Diabetics are at risk of getting an infection so you must go to a high quality shop that practices sterile techniques. Using betadine to prep the skin then wash it clean, using one needle one ink one patient rules. This will reduce the risk of infection dramatically
