See hand doc & X-ray: You may have degenerative arthritis from a nonunion or male ion or a gamekeepers thumb form this type of injury. Many other possible diagnoses are possible but impossible to make online without an exam or x-rays.

Get x-ray: I suspect you may have early arthritic changes in the hand/wrist which may explain your morning stiffness and pain.
