Much, however, will depend on the treatment implemented, the extent (and damage) of the heart attack, state of health before the heart attack, and other factors. Yes...but: Congratulations as many people do not survive their first mi. Lifestyle modification (diet, exercise, tobacco cessation) and adherence to medications are vital to your longevity as well as having a cardiologist to partner with in your health journey. Good luck.
