Prilocaine : Prilocaine is a s local anesthestic that doesn't have Epinephrine with an on set of about 2 minutes and duration of about 2 hrs. It will relieve the pain from a dental or surgical procudre but will not eliminate a pressure sensation.

Local Anesthetic: Citanest is a short acting local anesthetic used in dental procedures that usually lasts for about 45 minutes. It can come "plain" which means without Epinephrine or "forte" which has some Epinephrine in it to make it last longer (about 2 hours).
