Depends: Evaluation of a breast mass depends on many factors such as age and family history. Eval may include mammogram, ultrasound, mri, and biopsy. Only her doctor can determine what tests would be best for her.

See a doctor: Not all lumps felt in the breast are "bad" or cancerous. There are many noncancerous lumps that are common. Depending on her age, a mammogram and/or ultrasound may be necessary. I recommend an evaluation by a doctor.
