A member asked:

How long in between periods during menopause is ok? 3 1/2 years?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hmmmm.: Menopause is defined as 12 months beyond the last menstrual cycle. If you are bleeding 3 1/2 years after the last cycle you have post menopausal bleeding. This is not another menstrual cycle. Something else going on and you should be seen to discover the source of the bleeding.
