There is risk, but..: The biggest risk for getting pre-eclampsia is having had it before. Age , weight and hypertension are also risks. Hellp (as you know), can be very dangerous, and your case occurred quite early. Prior to conception, consult a maternal fetal medicine specialist. Also, make sure you are in the best physical condition possible before pregnancy.

Consult specialist: A maternal fetal medicine consult should precede the next pregnancy. Preeclampsia is diagnosed after 24 wks so u need a clear diagnosis you'll have a hi risk pregnancy but a good chance to have a better pregnancy next time.
