Lump likely gland: Many of the lymph nodes around the body will swell if they notice irritation or infection near their position. There are some under the jaw & from what you say there may be in infection involving your teeth or gums.Don't buy a casket yet. Get in to see your pcp or dentist this week & sort it out. It will likely respond to rx.

Infected tooth?: Lump under the jaw is probably an inflamed lymph node which points toward an infection of some sort, probably coming from a lower molar. Pain referred back toward the ear is also fairly common for an abcessed lower molar. See your dentist asap to diagnose which tooth the pain is coming from and to have it treated appropriately.
