Wrist pain: It's hard to know what the problem is without a medical evaluation. You may need a nerve study if it is cts or a x-ray or MRI if it is something else.

Exam & testing: Those 2 possibilities, along with other possible causes of wrist pain, can usually be sorted out by seeing your doctor for a complete history and exam, and possibly getting some additional testing such as xrays and/or ncs/emg (nerve conduction study/electromyelogram).
