Toothaches: Apart from tyelenol, tramadol is quite good. If its not related to teeth extraction nsaid's are quite good (ibuprofen, Motrin etc..).

The dentist!: Ultimately, you need to get to a dentist asap to get the source of the pain resolved. That said, in the meantime, cold compresses usually help. Nsaids such as Ibuprofen or Aleve (naproxen) tend to help as well.
