See doctor: You need to go back to your doctor to chang to different anti-inflammatory there are other ones besides Mobic (meloxicam) . Your ankle may need to be reevaluate with additional x-ray, MRI or even see specialist.Your doctor can recommend for you.

Consult specialist: Are other ways to manage arthritis besides anti-inflammatory medications which run the risk of causing GI problems with prolonged use. Try heat and range of motion therapy, with supportive footwear but have it evaluated by ankle specialist.
