Indirectly: Cannabinoids in marijuana have been shown to modulate inflammation. In a large population study mj users had a lower incidence of diabetes2 than nonusers. The researchers are still studying this effect to see if it may provide help for people with dm2. For now it's best not to use mj for dm2 until more research is completed.
