A member asked:

Could you get runner's knee from being bow legged and flat footed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, in some people: In a person with flattened feet arches, his kneecaps have more movement with each step he takes because the inside of his feet pronate (move towards the ground). The repetitive extra movement of the kneecaps can lead to "overuse" pains in the knee, which is a cause of "runner's knee" symptoms.
