My father had an angioplasty back in 2007, will he need to be on medications his entire life?

Aspirin: Aspirin for life unless bleeding. He should also be on a statin for life if tolerated. Any other medicines would be dictated by his condition(s), for instance blood pressure medicines and/or diabetes medicines if necessary.
