Unclear so far: Cataplexy, an association with narcolepsy, could be associated with intense emotions, and could cause a collapse, but frank loss of consciousness could be secondary to cardiac rhythm disturbance, or even a partial seizure. Your blood pressure may have dropped suddenly. Therefore, consider these problems and even medication/drug rxtns. Needs full evaluation asap! avoid driving.

Blackout: Seizure or stroke are the two most likely things. Were you drinking or doing drugs? Thats the other possibility. One other thing is to check your car for an exhaust leak. Check from the manifold to the tailpipe. Carbon monoxide is also a thought.
