Fungal Infection: Most likely you are suffering from a fungal infection of the skin. It is commonly referred to as jock itch. The main culprit is the humid environment created by sweat and folding of the skin. This creates optimal place for fungus to grow. Medical term used is tinea cruris. Can be treated with avoiding tight clothes, keeping area dry, and using otc anti-fungal cream like lotrimin (clotrimazole). Good luck.
