Is it possible for a ncv to miss nerve damage done in arms by gbs if main problem are my legs but do have marked numbness in hands and face? my ins. only covered my arms to be done.

Rephrase but I think: You are asking about nerveconductiontests?I don't understand gbs.Nctests only measure damage to the large nerves in the nerve bundles. Those nerves handle touch, pressure. Thin nerves (pain) don't show up in these tests. Only a biopsy shows thin nerve damage &this is rarely done.
