Which is the best treatment for torn anterior cruciate ligament (acl)?

Reconstruction: Treatment of torn ACL depends on patient age, activity level and expectations. High level athletes who are engaged in pivoting, cutting sports (soccer, football, basketball) have a greater change to return to their prior of level of activity with reconstruction. For patients who are lower demand, a trial of hamstring strengthening program and bracing may be reasonable.
