Yes: A number of studies show that people with hepatitis c experience problems with cognitive function, which include poor memory. About 50% of them suffer some kind of neuropsychiatric symptom, such as "brain fog", weakness, fatigue, etc. These changes can happen independent of severity of disease. The mechanisms of these changes are still being investigated -- could be inflammatory process in brain.
