I have lupus- diagnosed w/labs and symptoms.But had no antibodies positive- all were 0 except my ssa was 8 (0-40 is neg) & scl-70 was 3 (0-40 neg) should I be concerned about scleroderma? Very scared!
Labs done rnp is 2., speckle pattern 1:160 down from 1:320 negative for smith antibodies, lupus symptoms, ife and pe urine results are betaglobulin 30.3%, alpha2globulin is 14.5% albumin is 29.8%, alpha is 4.3%, gamma is 2.1%, is this lupus related?

Why do symptoms often show up yrs before labs (specific antinuclear antibodies, etc) in a diagnosis of lupus? I'm near diagnosis with only high +ana. What causes the sx?
