Sebacious cyst pubic area guy?

Needs a question: Unfortunately there is not a real question here. Cysts are growths that occur below the skin which are fluid filled sacs. Particularly in people who shave in the pubic region i frequently see abcesses. An abcess is a deep infection below the skin and often requires a surgical treatment. If you have a painful red bump in the pubic region (regardless of gender) see a doctor right away!

Surgeon: Assuming you want this cyst removed, a general surgeon, plastic surgeon, or derm surgeon can deal with this properly. Incision and drainage is usually not a complete "cure" since the sac that produces the sebum must be removed to prevent recurrence. Steroid injection is not recommended; you need this surgically excised.
