If i had sebaceous cyst drained 1 week ago as of today and it is pretty much closed do i still need to keep that area clean with peroxide .

Post treatment: We recommend to clean the incision site with hydrogen peroxide and apply antibiotic ointment such as neosporin or polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin). Repeat the process twice a day for one week, then transition to aquaphor for scar maintenance.

I & D of cysts: Once healed, you can forgo peroxide on your wound. Realize that your cyst can return and if you do develop a lump there, consider getting it removed to give you the best chance at resolving this problem.
