Hard to say: There are so many variables that can affect this including how fast the medical care was applied, etc. I will say that modern ICU care is an amazing thing, and even if kidneys are shutting down, dialysis can be performed temporarily to help keep your sister in law healthy until the medicine is cleared out. There is plenty to hope for and it sounds like she is in the right place.

Not very good: If she is on the ventilator, she needs to be assessed daily for any improvement mentally. If there is multiorgan failure, the prognosis is poor.

Not very good: Unfortunately, she is critical and it is unclear if she suffered brain damage or other. I would try to.Make sure that she didn't take anything else by looking at pill bottles. Talk to her doctors for more detailed information. Go in good health.
